A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for maternity leave coverage within an elementary setting serving Pre-K through 8th grade students. This contract position runs ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering a consistent 32.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 7:50 AM to 3:05 PM. The role is located in Hamburg, NJ, within Warren County.
Key Qualifications:
- Full state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Ability to manage a caseload independently (no Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants permitted)
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children from Pre-K to 8th grade
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as per individual education plans (IEPs)
- Document and report progress accurately and maintain compliance with district/state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct screenings and assessments as needed for referrals and ongoing evaluation
